Just listened to "Jesus the second Adam" message by John Dickson.
John contrasted the Christian and pagan views of the future. Christian view that the world will be re-created. Q: Will that be instantaneous or occur over billions of years.
Re the title (Jesus the second Adam); obviously John considers this man to have been a real historical figure. Q: Was the first Adam also a real historical figure?
The Romans passage has death affecting the world as a result of Adam's sin. Q: Does this mean there was no death before Adam sinned.
